We live here. We book here.

Find Key West exists because booking a day on the water here was harder than it should be — too many listings, too little accountability, and nobody who'd actually been on the boats.

Why we're here

A booking site run by people who are actually on the water

Key West gets a lot of visitors and a lot of operators. Most booking platforms scrape a list, take a cut and never speak to a captain. We went the other way — we met every operator we work with, went out on their boats, and only list the ones we'd put our own friends on.

That means a smaller list. It also means when you ask us whether the reef will be choppy on Thursday, you get a real answer from someone who knows what Tuesday looked like.

Local, not a marketplace

We're based on the island and we answer our own phone. There's no call centre between you and the captain.

Vetted, in person

Every operator is licensed, insured and met face to face before they appear on this site.

Honest about conditions

If the wind's wrong for the flats, we'll tell you — and move you somewhere it isn't.

One booking, everything

Boats, carts, jeeps and charters under one roof, so you're not juggling six confirmations.

The place

Why this island, and why it's worth doing properly

Key West sits at the end of a hundred-mile chain of islands, closer to Havana than to Miami. That remoteness is what makes the water here unlike anywhere else in Florida — and what makes a good local contact worth having.

Two oceans' worth of water

The Atlantic on one side, the Gulf on the other. Which one you go out on depends entirely on the wind that day — and it changes everything.

The backcountry

Thousands of acres of shallow flats and mangrove channels north of the island. Flat, calm and full of fish, birds and turtles.

A hundred miles of highway

The Overseas Highway runs the whole chain. Most visitors never leave the last four miles of it — which is exactly what a Jeep is for.
